4 week Watercolor Florals Class with Ashley Ruff
$120.00

Time: 9:15-10:30 am

Monday March 16, 23, 30, April 6

Join artist Ashley Ruff for a 4-session watercolor journey designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and create vibrant floral artwork you’ll be proud to frame.

Watercolor has a uniquely freeing quality — the way the pigment moves, blends, and blooms on the page reminds us that beauty often happens when we let go of control. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to blend color confidently, paint soft, flowing florals, and build balanced compositions — all while embracing the calming, healing rhythm of the brush.

Whether you’re brand new to painting or simply craving creative space, this class invites you to loosen up, trust the process, and enjoy the freedom watercolor offers. You’ll leave with finished floral paintings ready to frame — and a renewed sense of creative confidence.

About Ashley

Ashley Ruff is a painter inspired by nature, global textiles, and natural light. Her art celebrates botanical life through vibrant and bold hues. Her love for color began early—she vividly recalls matching her peridot birthstone earrings to her sweater on her first day of school. This early fascination with color led her to experiment with her father’s Pentax 35mm camera, sparking a lifelong passion for photography and design.

She earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography from Winthrop University and has spent more than 17 years creating and directing art, design, and photography. In recent years, Ashley has turned her focus to watercolor and acrylic painting, blending her love of color and nature into her work. She offers original paintings, a small selection of home products, and fine art prints. In addition to her artwork, Ashley designs textiles and household products featuring her original patterns, and provides web design and branding services for businesses.
